Experiential Training at UCSF-Stanford CERSI

UCSF-Stanford CERSI Immersion Program

By enrolling in this program, participants will gain a comprehensive and rigorous overview of regulatory and scientific considerations for the evaluation of quality, safety and effectiveness of FDA-regulated products.  Intensive courses are taught by industry subject matter experts in Spring and Fall quarters.  Participants engage in group discussions and networking activities.  A Statement of Completion is offered to participants who complete all coursework. Limited enrollment.

UCSF-Stanford CERSI Internship Program

After completing UCSF-Stanford CERSI Immersion Program, participants may apply for a quarter-long UCSF-Stanford CERSI internship in industry or at the FDA.  Under mentorship, interns will apply their knowledge and skills to tackle regulatory problems faced by sponsors and the agency in developing and approving medical products. Prerequisites: successful completion of UCSF-Stanford CERSI Immersion Program, limited enrollment, by application only.

UCSF-Stanford CERSI Fellowship Program

Select group of postdoctoral fellows will engage in emergent regulatory science research by completing two research rotations, one in academia and one at the FDA.  Fellows will complete UCSF-Stanford CERSI Immersion Program during their academic rotation. 1 to 2 fellows annually, by application only.
